The Anglican Province of Christ the King is an Anglican Church committed to traditional forms of doctrine and liturgy. Our Province is composed of five dioceses with parishes and missions throughout the United States.

If you are seeking an orthodox Anglican expression of historic Christianity, the Province of Christ the King holds the "faith once delivered to the saints" as handed down from the apostolic fathers.  Please come and worship the risen Lord with us.

LIFE AS AN ANGLICAN?

QUESTION:  What does "Anglican" mean?  What would your own life be like as an Anglican?

ANSWER:  To be an “Anglican” or “Anglican Catholic” is to live life believing and practicing the plain, ancient Christian faith, and worshipping God in grateful participation in the simple Sunday worship of earliest Christians.  To be an Anglican is also to acknowledge the Scripture-based moral teaching of the historic Church and to enjoy the gifts of grace and peace and companionship with Christ, now and for eternity.

FOR EXAMPLE:  St. Alban, a young Roman soldier and earliest martyr for Christ in England (beheaded by pagans in 200 AD after he was converted by a missionary priest), George Washington, and C. S. Lewis were faithful Anglicans.  The “formula”  by which they served God in life and worship was as basic, consistent and complete as it can be for you.

YOU ARE VERY WELCOME AT:  St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 508 East Iris (off Bransford Avenue, near 100 Oaks Mall).  Holy Communion each Sunday at 10:00 AM; and Sunday School soon at 9:00 AM.  With any prayer need or inquiry, call 615 383 0443.
